Gasworks

Gasworks is a beautiful public park on the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company gasification plant on the north shore of Lake Union.

Sometimes, I walk there from home, through the garden of the Fremont library, and stop by to see the ship yard and the house boats under the Aurora Bridge. It is a very Seattle-like neighborhood.

Also on the way to Gasworks, it is Café Turko, a lovely Turkish restaurant. If you come to see the Fremont Fair, you can eat at the café and watch the parade. You will like it:)
